Family Practice

At Family Medical Specialties, family practice physicians are dedicated to providing primary care for patients of all ages. We offer services including scheduled appointments for routine preventive care such as annual physicals and well baby visits, but also leave room in our schedule to see patients for acute illnesses or injuries that may come up unexpectedly. Practitioners are trained to identify a wide range of medical issues from pediatrics to elder care. They listen carefully to patient concerns and recommend a course of treatment based on their examination. They take the time necessary to ensure that the patient clearly understands all instructions. In some cases, the course of treatment will require the involvement of another physician in the practice or referral to a specialist elsewhere, always with the understanding and agreement of the patient.
